Gallery Description
1. C.A.P. Studio
Location: 368/13 Nimmanhemin Road, Soi 17 Suthep Muang, Chiang Mai, Thailand 50200
Description: Chiang Mai Art on Paper (C.A.P) is a fine art printmaking studio located in the northern Thai city of Chiang Mai. The studio has grown from humble beginnings since it was established in 2004 in the studio apartment of founder Kitikong (Kong) Tilokwattanotai. The operations of the studio quickly outgrew Kong’s studio apartment; the living space being dominated by the etching press, and in 2006 the studio moved to its current location and spiritual home in the trendy and cosmopolitan Chiang Mai suburb Nimmanhemin. Since then CAP’s reputation has steadily grown and it has quickly become an important institution of the ever expanding arts scene and community of Chiang Mai. Today, for those wishing to purchase contemporary prints by Thai and international artists and for anyone interested in observing the operations of a printmaking studio, the doors of CAP are always open.
2. UNI_FORM Design Studio

Description: THE UNI_FORM Design Studio is the collaboration of 2 graphic designers – Wutthipat Somjit and Pariwat A-nantachina. The duo met in Fine and Applied Arts Bangkok University. After graduation, both of them shared the same uniforms and work together at Practical Design Studio for 2 years, then headed off to find new experiences in their own way and took on different uniforms. Wutthipat worked for the international acclaim magazine – Wallpaper*. Pariwat joined a big corporation – King Power International, while continued to work on his personal art on the side. Their paths mets again at Bangkok University where they have become a special lecturers. This reunion led to a decision to establish their studio where they once again wear the same uniform. At UNI_FORM, they share the same simple principal – the design flexibility needs to be easy to wear and have good ventilation.
3. Lyla Gallery

Description: Lyla gallery proudly brings together cross generational transnational border breaking international artists. The gallery is situated in Chiang Mai but this does not locate the galleries ambitious projects. Having a strong curatorial focus from within and outside of Asia. Within its humble location in Thailand Lyla gallery seeks to represent and present the best of Thai and international art.
Founded in 2014, Lyla Gallery is a newly established gallery located on the second floor of 60-year-old building on Tha Phae Road, the prime location of Chiang Mai city. Lyla Gallery is focusses in contemporary art, with an aim to support and promote both established and emerging Thai artists in all media. Exhibitions are curated or organised by Lyla Phimanrat, a founder and director of the gallery, and occasional guest curator.

6. MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum

Description: Maiiam Contemporary Art Museum is a museum founded by Bunnag-Beurdeley family. The museum will house the family’s permanent collection, which includes many works from the master of Thai Contemporary art ranging from the late Montien Boonma, Chatchai Puipia, Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook to name a few.

Description: H Gallery is one of Asia’s leading venues for regional and international art. Established in 2002, the gallery began with a focus on emerging Asian artists and has since established a program of exhibitions and installations that aims to generate critical dialogues on contemporary art practices for the global context.
All exhibitions are organized or curated by Brian Curtin. Irish-born Curtin holds a Ph.D. (Fine Art) from the University of Bristol, UK, and is an art writer, lecturer and freelance curator. He has published extensively on contemporary art in magazines such as Frieze, Art Asia Pacific, Contemporary, Art Journal, and Artforum.com. Curtin curated the Southeast Asian section of China’s Chongqing Youth Biennale 2011 and works regularly with local and regional galleries and spaces.
H Gallery maintains an extensive inventory of paintings, sculpture, and photography in Bangkok and in Chiang Mai by many of the artists who’ve exhibited here over the years.

Description: Serindia Gallery, a gallery of fine arts and photography, is located in a 60-year old post-colonial style home in the neighborhood of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the French Ambassador Residence by the Chao Phraya river. “Serindia” means the silk road between China and India — a term coined by past archeologists to designate a vast stretch of land west of China from Xinjiang all the way west to the Middle East and down to the Himalayas and northern India. It is a place rich in the confluence of culture, history and art, and Serindia’s books and arts reflect these rich cultures and religions.
Serindia Gallery continues the tradition of its Serindia publishing brand into a gallery of fine arts and photography. It represents international artists from Europe, America, and Asia. Works include oil and watercolor paintings, woodblock prints, and fine art photographs.
11. NOVA Contemporary

Description: Nova Contemporary specialises in contemporary art, focusing on established and emerging international artists. The gallery is dedicated to exhibiting and selling fine contemporary art. In addition it will offer consultation to novice and established art connoisseur in areas such as acquisition, insurance, installation and storage.
The gallery aims to support art education to the general public through its programme, which consists of talks and conversations between artists, collectors and specialists. Nova Contemporary hopes to contribute to the ever- growing art community in Thailand.
Nova Contemporary is directed by Sutima Sucharitakul, who brings with her experience from The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She was trained in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art London, and has an MA in the History of Art from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London.

Description: Viranod Buranasiri is a self-taught artist and photographer with a passion for abstract painting. He was a finalist in Photographer’s Forum photo competition and a finalist in the 180 Year Thai-US
Friendship exhibition. He won several Silver Awards and Honourable Mentions in the International Photography Annual (IPA) 2014, Honourable Mentions in the IPA 2013. His photographic works have been published in The Magazine, Bangkok Post Publishing, since Dec 2013 to current.
He had a solo painting exhibition, Rhapsody in Colour, in March 2014. Rhapsody in Colour was organised together with the Bangkok Post Foundation and was exhibited at the Emporium, Bangkok,
whereby all his paintings were sold in the first day.

Description: Kritsada Phakawatsuntorn imprisons himself in a lonely artistic world, and trys to explain the inexplicable to the outside world through his artworks. Inspiration can come from his innermost desires and past secrets he wishes to remain hidden, it could have been the lifestyle, the dreams, the fields of work, or the fascination with different characters and facial expressions, or even the life he had while studying abroad. These thoughts and memories are conjured to create surreal imagery, drawing us into a parallel universe of emptiness.
